Communication Skill
The Human Advantage
01A Global Soft Skill Readiness Report
Unlocking the Human Edge
in an AI-Accelerated World
Publication Perspective
ISSR-2030 presents a practitioner-driven synthesis of global research, field evidence and observed capability requirements.
It translates recurring capability themes into a structured human-capability architecture — a research-led perspective on the capabilities that will shape people, work and organisations in an AI-accelerated world.
Published by Roushan Research International, ISSR-2030 draws upon the broader global evidence landscape without claiming endorsement or validation by external organisations.
Research in Numbers
Research Foundation & Methodology
ISSR-2030 is grounded in more than 20 years of practitioner engagement with soft-skill research and development, particularly communication and professional capability.
Its practitioner research base includes approximately 320,000 survey respondents alongside long-term practitioner observation, learner interaction, training experience, behavioural insight, secondary research, crosswalk and synthesis.
The methodology is presented as a practitioner-led research synthesis. It is not positioned as a conventional statistically representative global survey.
Capability Architecture
SOC means Skill & Occupational Competency.
The architecture comprises exactly five macro capability domains and 50 SOCs.

05Major Findings
Together, the findings frame future readiness not as a collection of isolated traits, but as an observable, developable human capability system.
Technical qualification does not automatically translate into professional effectiveness.
Communication functions as a foundational capability.
Human capability is interconnected.
Capability must be observable and developable.
AI increases the importance of human judgment.
Practice and measurement matter.
